“Looking at the 2018 Proprietary Red, this blend of roughly 60% Cabernet Franc and 40% Merlot reveals a dense purple color as well as lots of cassis, Bing cherries, tobacco, chocolate, and truffle-like nuances. Rich, full-bodied, and packed with fruit, this downright sexy blend can be drunk any time over the coming 10-15 years. Both of these 2018s from this label are well worth seeking out and represent terrific values in high end Napa Valley reds.”
